Biography
Dr. Bordignon graduated in Medicine at the University of Padua, Italy, and specialized in Cardiology in the Padua University School of Cardiology. Initially active in the field of cardiac stimulation, in 2011 moved to Frankfurt (Germany) in the electrophysiology laboratory of the high volume centre of the Cardioangiologisches Centrum Bethanien (CCB). Granted with the Fellowship of the EHRA (European Heart Rhythm Association), he was trained in the field of interventional cardiac electrophysiology. Now attending physician at CCB, he performed more than 1300 ablation-procedures, including more than 800 atrial fibrillation ablation procedures. Author and coauthor of several publications in EP specialized peer reviewed journals, he focuses his clinical research in the field of balloon catheters based pulmonary vein isolation.
